Welcome to Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch! We've curated an extraordinary group: investors, founders, professional athletes, a television executive producer, and other remarkable builders, creators, and leaders. It's a rare mix of accomplished people from very different worlds, and we can't wait to watch the connections spark.

More than a surf destination, the Ranch feels like home — warm, welcoming, and deeply connected to the spirit of the ocean. Nestled in the farm fields of California's Central Valley, more than a hundred miles from the coast, sits one of the world's great feats of innovation: the longest open-barrel, high-performance man-made wave ever built. Come for the waves; stay for the friendships and the small bit of magic that happens when extraordinary people gather in an extraordinary place.

On arrival you're based at the North Shore Deck — gear, food & beverages, cold plunges, sauna, and hot tub. The main deck opens the next morning.

The Experience

Surfing & Equipment

Surfboard quiver in the board room at Surf Ranch

Coaching and surf team managers handle heat scheduling and answer questions about the wave and gear. A full quiver of Firewire surfboards is available, plus Rip Curl wetsuits, fins, leashes, and more. Bring your own if you prefer.

Fuel for the Waves

A seasonal, chef-curated farm-to-fork menu draws on the Surf Ranch Garden and local produce, with mercury-free, microplastic-free seafood from Seatopia. Coffee, cold-pressed juices, craft cocktails, beer, and wine throughout the day.

Lodging

Guests stay in an Airstream or a cabin; most are shared. All lodging includes linens, towels, restrooms and showers, and beverages and snacks. Please share preferences with Amanda and the team will do their best to accommodate.

Getting Around

Cruiser bikes by the lakeside at Surf Ranch

Car rental is available onsite at each of the three nearby airports. Uber and Lyft are extremely limited — Surf Ranch can assist with local options. A shared ride-share spreadsheet is available if you'd like to coordinate rides — just ask Amanda.

Fresno-Yosemite International Airport (FAT)

Services commercial airlines and is a 45-minute drive to Surf Ranch.
